Lucca is Djing again..
One of the hottest female Dj over last ten years is coming back after pregnancy break.. Her last gig was in Poland in February 2010, when she was in 4th month of pregnancy already.
Her comeback was planned for approximately 6 months after the date of birth, but due to some really nice events, she will start earlier.
It's for sure she missed her Dj gigs and all her fans across the globe. She was barely at home during weekends in last ten years of her Dj career, so not playing around was a big change. This break was
a must for her baby son, but also a nice chance to refresh, to attend, use, learn...new things! One of these new things are for sure some top dj "toys" which she's going to use on upcoming gigs. Additional "why" we are all excited to hear playing her live! Beside this Lucca is all the time taking care of her label Sound Of Acapulco, chasing for new names, quality tracks and of course producing her own tracks as well. The news to mention is for sure a licensed track "Boy From Ipanema" for Carl Cox's latest compilation "The Revolution Continues Ibiza 2010".
Lucca is also preparing her new, animated videoclip in cooperation with Eallin Studio, for her new track Japan Sugar Boogie. Hopefully will be out in autumn this year.
Like we mention..there are some nice upcoming events where Lucca will play earlier than planned. Her first exceptional performance is scheduled for 14th and 25th of September in Bratislava (Slovakia) and Prague (Czech Republic) alongside David Guetta.
Other offers for autumn were postopned and set for end of this year. In the calendar is confirmed a gig at one of her favourite festivals in Luxembourg with which she will open her foreign gigs in 2011.

Dj Lucca se vrací k djingu

Naposledy jsme Luccu mohli vidět za djským pultem 13.února 2010 v Polsku. To byla ve čtvrtém měsíci těhotenství.  
Návrat k djingu tehdy plánovala zhruba půl roku po porodu. Hraní a fanoušci jí chyběli, byla to pro ni velká změna, jelikož za 10 let její kariéry djky nebyla o víkendu doma:-)
V této djské přestávce se ale mohla věnovat jiným věcem. Především zkoušela nové djské "hračky", které si velmi pochvaluje.
Nepřetržitě se věnuje svému labelu Sound Of Acapulco, a vlastní tvorbě. Dokonce Carl Cox nedávno licencoval její skladbu "Boy From Ipanema" pro svoji kompilaci The Revolution Continues  Ibiza 2010"
Lucca také připravuje svůj nový animovaný videoklip ve spolupráci se Studiem Eallin k jejímu novému tracku Japan Sugar Boogie. Ten vyjde na podzim.
Lucca se však nemohla dočkat a k hraní se vrátí již 14.9 a 25.9, kdy v Bratislavě a v Praze vystoupí na party s Davidem Guettou.
Přestože si Lucca mateřství užívá, a další hraní na podzim odmítla nebo přesunula, na prosinec už potvrzená vystoupení má. V kalendáři se objevilo také hraní na festivalu v Lucembursku. Jedná se totiž o její oblíbenou akci a v zahraničí začne Lucca naplno hrát od března.

At the moment you all know how many artists are "born" on daily basis and what we can expect if this colonization will keep this flow...hehe ;)

Is there enough space for everybody?

Let's be honest...
For sure we all have different view and different philosophy about future music, styles, names, etc...

But, we know we have to keep good names together and we all have to support each other!

This time SOA welcome two young talents, both already had their moments, both being supported by big boy Umek and his label 1605, both are working hard to achieve their success, both run their own story and both are very good guys. We had a chance to follow their work in past few month, so the excitement to have them on board is now even bigger!
Please let us introduce Sinisa Lukic and Roman Gertz!

Combining elements for their versus EP was a nice experience for all of us, so we really hope you'll find this sounds interesting for your sets as well.

Boy From Ipanema EP produced by Lucca sounds little different than we are used to hear from our finest lady, but for sure likable for wider audience.
This summer Lucca was first time on "crazy" island...talking about Ibiza of course, so maybe her inspiration comes directly from there.
Deep bass line, with latino / funky inserts, trumpets, piano... yeah, this is Boy From Ipanema!

We wanted to add that "spicy" touch to this EP, so the invitation of two top producers, Marko Nastic and Piatto was on the end the right one.

Mr.Marko brings us super cool housy remix, with piano inserts to break the "ice" but still to keep the vibe of Ipanema during the whole track.
Mr.Piatto chooses little more deep remix with interesting noise in the background which gives us a feeling to listen the track from an old Cuban Juke Box ;)

Techno, house, tech house, minimal... do we have to decide for you?

CRANK is one of the most played track from Lucca's debut album Reformation released one year ago. To get closer to our listeners and supporters during this year we decided to release the track again together with techno remix from our friend that we really support. Both tracks were played by many artists, coming from techno and progressive genres.

Original mix produced by Lucca is absolutely interesting piece of work with not strictly techno drive, but with nice melodies floating through whole track.

There are some elements in the track which makes it recognizable on dance floor for sure ;)

On the other side we have Jon Rundell with his techno mood.

Jon recently changed a bit his production view and feeling of future techno sound, so his remix is something not "ordinary"...

So...not to loose our feeling only in words, SOA is ready for another EP before end of this year...

For next year and next period we already have some truly amazing stuff coming out, so you better check our stuff often ;)

..."it's true, I'm an art junkie..." said Andrew Technique in on of his latest interviews. Charismatic and funny guy from small country on the sunny side of the Alps, Slovenia. We were wondering what's the secret of Slovenian air, since in past two years we had a chance to meet few really brilliant producers and DJ's from there.

Andrew is not some green newcomer, but an artist with already established career. We had a chance to follow his growth in past few years and listen to all his tracks coming out on several labels (Circle, Jesus Loved You,...). Absolutely an artist to keep an eye on him.

Speaking about Slovenian taste, we can't go bye without mention another wonder boy... Tomy DeClerque. There's got to be something in this guy if Umek pronounced him as producer of the 2008 year and we heard noises that this year could be the same... His techno taste and production skills are just superb!
Remix is not straight techno, but all this depends how you actually feel nowday techno ;)

Sound Of Acapulco "Only Human EP" with track name "Walter", brings you a mixture of techno and tech house rhythms for sure something to keep the dance floor jumping.

Conclusion for this EP goes like this:
